I was just wondering why the chirping of the birds is so much louder than usual. First thought was just
it’s mating season and because of the lockdown more birds are coming into the city
But this article states that the lockdown doesn’t mean there are more urban birds than before. It is more that with reduced traffic noise we can hear them better and some however stop singing when there is noise, so now they are letting themselves go.
