#99: Recovery Week

This week was a recovery week for me. That means taking a break from any sports activity like doing the 10k run, hitting two times the gym for a full-body workout and removing supplements like Creatine or Protein Powder from my diet. I try to do it every 8-10 weeks. Mainly I do it to let my body recover, physically and mentally. This week feels like the time passes by more slowly and it motivates to start training again the upcoming week. It reminds me to be just grateful to be able to train in general. Also I know that my performance won’t decrease after this one week off. I start the first week with 75% of my normal performance to get my body re-accustomed to the training and on the second week I’m already back to the 100%.
